Lowe's Companies is an American home improvement retail business with its headquarters located in Mooresville, North Carolina. It operates retail locations in the US and Canada. It is the second-biggest hardware chain in the United States, after The Home Depot and before Menards. It has grown to operate 2,200 stores and employ 300,000 people since its foundation in 1946.
