Event Timeline

**Streaming a panel discussion

We are organizing a hybrid event discussing the future of winter sports, taking place in a hotel in Cortina. We need to stream it live to a global audience. My biggest worry is the internet connection in the mountains. Has anyone done a live stream there successfully?

Internet in the mountains is notoriously unreliable, even in nice hotels. If you are streaming globally, you cannot rely on the hotel Wi-Fi alone; you need a bonded cellular solution that combines multiple 4G/5G connections for redundancy. You should look for live and hybrid event production in Cortina. Orbis has experience with this technology and can set up a stable stream even in difficult locations. They can handle the multi-camera switching and the encoding so the stream looks professional TV quality. How many remote viewers are you expecting?

We are expecting about 500 people online, so if the stream drops, it will be a disaster. Bonded cellular sounds like the safety net we need. I definitely don't want to risk it with just the hotel connection.
