To be honest, the biggest problem with investing in real estate or private equity has always been liquidity—you can't just sell a building on a Friday afternoon if you need cash. That’s why I think the fractional ownership model is the only way forward for the industry. I was reading a breakdown of tokenization and how is it changing traditional markets recently, which you can check here: https://dataconomy.com/2025/12/12/tokenization-and-how-is-it-changing-traditional-markets/ and it really highlights how lowering the barrier to entry solves the liquidity crunch. If we can trade fractional real estate as easily as stocks, it completely changes the game for retail investors who are currently priced out.
