Finding good dark accents that don't feel flat or oppressive can be tricky when redoing a small room. We spent weeks looking for something with subtle texture for our guest bath floor and shower niche before settling on matte sheet designs. Sourced some black mosaic tiles to run as an accent trim, and the dark grout held everything together nicely. It turned out to be a solid place to pick up different styles of tile for pretty much any room/space, whether you're looking for glass tile backsplashes or large format marble for main living areas.
